Craig first got on skis somewhere around the age of two and spent his formative years ripping around the Canterbury club fields. Craig made his way through the ranks of the New Zealand Junior Freeride Tour, the Freeride World Junior Tour and the Freeride World Qualifier Tour (FWQ), qualifying to compete on the 2018 Freeride World Tour (FWT) where he claimed two podium finishes. He was back on the podium in 2020 with a win in Fieberbrunn.
Craig's Take
Pulse are experts in what they do. They have developed their own systems, from liners to scanners. They are at the forefront of tech, pushing the boundaries of boot fitting.
I spend countless days in my boots each year. My issue is needing tight-fitting performance for competitions and filming, but also needing comfort and movement for multi-day missions, walking up river beds, over mixed terrain, and climbing in crampons. It’s a very complex challenge to get it right, but Pulse has helped me find the balance to ensure I can ski to the level I want, and am comfortable enough to keep pushing through long days in the mountains.
The footbed and liner that Pulse fitted me with has been great and made a big difference in both these areas. They pay attention to detail and have the knowledge and experience to back it up whether it’s a tweak or a complete fit-out.
Thank you Matt and the whole Pulse team!
